Chicken Coop Candle Mat Handstitched by me - a candle mat for your jar candles. No more boring jar candles sitting around. Add just a bit of decoration by sitting them on a handmade candle mat!I've stitched some prim chickens along with the words, "Welcome to the Coop" with embroidery thread. Everything is stitched with a barn red thread. On the back, I've sewn a piece barn red/tan checked cotton homespun which comes out around the edge of the muslin for a border. The entire backing is one piece of the homespun. There is a layer of quilt batting between the two layers of fabric that give it a quilted look. The muslin is coffee stained for a perfectly prim finish. The candle mat measures aprox. 8.5" across. Great gift for the kitchen of a rooster collector! |
